Kishore Joseph with Yogi

Sandalwood heart throb Yogi (Loose Mada) is going to shake a leg for a charity do organized by Bangalore-based NGO, the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. And what is more, performing with him will be the popular glam girl Ragini Dwivedi.

That’s all. The song ‘n dance show will see the legendary SP Balasubramanyam lending his voice as part of the forthcoming SPB Musical Journey and the Logo Unveiling of the T-20 World Cup for the Blind 2012.  This show will act as fundraising platform for the T-20 World Cup for the Blind is scheduled for December 2012.

The curtain raiser for the unique one-of-its-kind world cup will be held on August 25, 2012 at Palace Grounds, Bangalore, and will be a flagship event of Samarthanam Trust.

When Samarthanam Coordinator Kishore Joseph sounded out Yogi for the event, the actor fondly recalled his family’s association with Samarthanam Trust. His mother regularly visits Samarthanam to celebrate Yogi and his brother’s birthday. However, he said he had not visited Samarthanam and would not do so too in the future! “I am too sensitive by nature and cannot bear to see the visually impaired children up front and close,” he remarked shyly. That’s the reason why he had even refused a shoot with special children. When a eight-minute documentary of Samarthanam Trust was screened for him, the young actor almost broke down and had a tough time controlling his emotions.

Ironically, Yogi has been quoted in the media as showing attitude, and when told about it, he laughed it off saying I cannot affect airs even if I want to!

Yogi first hit the limelight for his debut role as Loose Mada in the blockbuster Duniya and followed it with his debut as a hero in Hrudaya I Miss You, directed by Satya Yogesh, son of film producer Siddaraju.

Keep your date on August 25. Yogi promised that it would be a blast with his good friend Ragini!
