Kannada film actor and celebrity Shivarajkumar and Greater Bangalore City Corporation Commissioner M K Shankaralinge Gowda officially inaugurated the 9th Wellness Centre in Bangalore at Chandra Layout on 9th May 2012. Bangalore, Shathayu Ayurveda, pioneer in research and evidence-based Ayurveda, today announced the opening of their 9th Wellness Centre in Bangalore at Chandra Layout to cater to the needs of the local residents. The opening of the center is part of the expansion plans of Shathayu Ayurveda, established in 1901.

Speaking on the occasion, Shivarajkumar, said, “Shathayu has a great legacy. When my father (thespian actor Dr. Rajkumar) was suffering from knee pain, Shathayu intervened and treated him for two years. The results were amazing. Since then, our family has been a regular customer of Shathayu. It gives me immense pride and satisfaction that I am launching their 9th center today.”
Shankarlinge Gowda pointed out that most of the residents of the city were suffering from lifestyle diseases and traditional treatments, such as Ayurveda, was one of the best options to overcome them. “We all know that Ayurveda has cure for many of the lifestyle diseases. I wish that people explore Ayurveda to lead a stress-free life,” he added.
