Presidency Business School Celebrates Graduation Day

Bangalore-Presidency Group of Institutions celebrated its 9th ‘Valedictory Day’ of its flagship Presidency Business School for the outgoing MBA students’ batch of 2012. It was a moment of celebration and pride for over 160 students while receiving their graduation certificates amidst loud applause. The College presented various award to the talented students in recognition of their consistent, exceptional academic achievement over the entire programme amidst huge excitement and joy.The Chief Guest of the function was Ms. Apurva Purohit, CEO, Radio City 91.1 FM and the Keynote Speaker was Dr. Pallab Bandyopadhyay, Director HR, Citrix R&D India. The occasion was graced by Mr. Nissar Ahmed, Chairman, Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI).Speaking on this momentous occasion, Mr. Nissar Ahmed, Chairman, Presidency Group of Institutions said “We continue to deliver top class education to future leaders of the world. I am confident that this batch will rise up to the challenges posed globally and will help create a positive impact on society at large. I congratulate the students who have graduated and wish them all success in their career. I also thank the parents, faculty members and students for their dedication and hard work. We are very proud of our students as they take the next step to serve the community as skilled professionals and wish them the best in all their endeavors.”Ms. Apurva Purohit, CEO, Radio City 91.1 FM advised the students to realize their potential and effectively utilize it to build a good career. She said that it’s is a competitive world today, and therefore you have to struggle hard to excel in your career and life. She asked the students to be integrated, empowered and committed to excellence. She also emphasised on the importance of adaptability and change in order to succeed. She added that this day is another step towards the goal.Delivering the Key Note address, Dr. Pallab Bandyopadhyay, Director HR, Citrix R&D India said “It is a time to set new objectives. I take this opportunity to congratulate everyone associated with the group on the occasion of its 9th graduation ceremony. He advised the students to focus on creating innovation. He advised students to work towards their dreams by not taking short cuts in life. He also strongly emphasized the value of ethical management in his address to the students.
