April, 2012: Metropolis Healthcare, India’s leading multinational chain of diagnostic centers has been honored with eminent awards namely Rashtriya Chikitsa Ratna Award and Quality Brands India 2012-2014. The Rashtriya Chikitsa Ratna Award was conferred on Dr. Sushil Shah, Chairman and Founder, Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, at a national level seminar on Individual Achievements Intellectual Excellence & the event was organized by National Education & Human Resource Development Organization (NEHRDO). The event recently took place in Mumbai at Ravindra Natya Mandir & was graced by eminent personalities to name a few Mr. P. Palaniappan – M & M (Sr. VP), Mr. L. Suryanarayan Rao – Pidilite (Director), Mr. Dharmesh. Tiwari – Film India Association (VP), Mr. Mukesh Mathur – Film India, Actor.
Rashtriya Chikitsa Ratna Award is a symbol of quality work felicitated to the selected members and organizations for showcasing excellence in their respective fields. Dr. Sushil Shah has been presented with this award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of diagnostic and healthcare sector. Dr. Shah has been instrumental in building Metropolis Healthcare Services as India’s first referral laboratory in 1981. A Research Fellow of the prestigious Cornell Medical Center, New York, Dr. Shah has brought an array of radical innovations in diagnostic medicines to India.
Quality Brands India aims at felicitating successful businessmen and suppliers who have made extensive contribution for the development of micro, small and medium industries in India. With over 100 entries received for this award, only 5 qualified for the finals, of which Metropolis Healthcare emerged a winner for the “Quality Brand” status.
