Bangalore, June 24, 2012: MAAC Manifest 2012, an interface organized by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) sensitized the students on the roads to a great career in animation. The event witnessed over 500 participants assembled in Bangalore.

The event managed to dispel a few myths and encouraged the students to look at animation as a career option. The making of ‘ARJUN The Warrior’ was an eye opener for many animation aspirants who were able to recognize the effort behind the magic thus created by this film.
At present, MAAC has 5 centres in Bangalore and is planning to launch 3 more this financial year. More than 10 000 students have being trained so far and 70 % of them have being placed at reputed studios and production houses. MAAC is the preferred choice of many studios like Technicolor, Rhythm and Hues, Maya Digital, Prime focus, Red chillies and UTV. Expected enrolment in the next 5 years would be approximately 8000

At the successful completion of MAAC Manifest 2012, Mr. Ram Warrier, Business Head, MAAC said, “It is very rare that students get such highly accomplished experts in the field of animation to interact with the students. An event like this helps a student to make an informed choice of choosing animation as a career”.
