Kingfisher infuses fun into the run!

With the TCS World 10K round the corner, Kingfisher sets the stage for some vibrant and outrageous costume statements…

Kingfisher invites Bangaloreans to bring out an array of unique and wacky outfits at the ‘Kingfisher Run-in-Costume’- Majja Run, an integral part of the World 10K marathon scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 27th.

Participants are invited to display creativity and run for fun in colourful and imaginative costumes. Attractive rewards await the most innovative costumes! Kingfisher will be giving away three categories of prizes: ‘Kingfisher Sakkath Bangalorean’ – three individual prizes for the best dressed individuals, ‘Kingfisher Bombaat Brigade’ – a group prize for best formations based on a theme and the ‘Kingfisher Green Crusader’ – two individual prizes for the best eco-friendly costume.

So all are invited to come dressed, get noticed, and rewarded by noted personalities from the fashion fraternity who will be judging the “Run-in-Costume”.

This is one platform where people take the fun route to support and draw attention to a noble cause. This year too we expect the ‘Good Times’ spreading across and hope the people of Bangalore enjoy themselves and spread the cheer.”

The ‘Kingfisher Run-in-Costume’ is part of the ‘Majja Run’ – a 6 km run which takes place alongside the actual world 10K. The ‘Kingfisher Run-in-Costume’ has in the past resulted in a big street party with enthusiastic participation from thousands in innovative and crazy costumes.
