Pankaj Udhas, Anup Jalota to sing for charity

Noted ghazal singers Pankaj Udhas and Anup Jalota are all to set enthrall Bangaloreans during October 2008.

Shree Jagannath Temple Trust, Bangalore as part of International Day of Non-Violence on October 2, 2008 is holding a concert by ghazal and bhajan exponent Anup Jalota. The concert will be held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. Mangaldeep Incence Sticks, a division of ITC, are the sponsors of the event. According to the organizers, the funds raised during the concert will be used to construct Sri Jaganath Temple and construct a Cultural Centre in Agara on Sarjarpur road, Bangalore. Foundation for Restoring Human Dignity (FORHD), an NGO actively involved in rehabilitating destitute women and children of prisoners is also organizing a musical concert by Pankaj Udhas.
