National Seminar on Bhagavad Gita

Srimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sri Sonda Swarnavalli Mahasamsthana, Sirsi, Sri Swarnavalli SEVA Pratistana Bangalore, Sri Vivekananda Yoga University and Nimhans Bangalore will jointly organize a national seminar on Bhagavad Gita and mental health at Nimhans Convention Centre on Sep 20-21.
The seminar will be inaugurated by His Holiness Srimad Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sri Sri Shankara Bharathi Mahaswamiji of Sri Yoganandeshawara math, Edathore, KR Nagar, chief guest Poojya Nirbhayaananda Swamiji, President, Ramakrishna Sharada Math, Gadag, Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Vice-Chancellor, SVYAS, and Dr D. Nagaraj, Director, Nimhans.

Poojya Swami Nirbhayaanandaji will deliver a lecture on traditional perspectives, scientific perspectives, and modern perspectives, Dr. Parthasarathy on mind analysis, Dr RM Varma on Psychological Sciences, Vedantic perspectives by Shtavadhani Dr. R. Ganesh, Message of Gita to modern psychology by Dr. Shivram Karaikal. Chief Minister Sri BS Yeddyurappa will release a book titled Gita Manasa on the concluding valedictory day on Sep 21. Medical Education Minister Dr Ramachandre Gowda and Justice and MP, Rama Jois, will preside over the valedictory.
