Lord Ganesha gives Ladoo as Prasada

In JP Nagar, people flock to the residence of industrialist HN Ramesh during Vinayaka Chaturthi. "I touched the feet of Lord Ganesha in his house and the idol gave me a ladoo as prasad," said one visitor. Another visitor touched the feet of Goddess Lakshmi and got a five-rupee coin as prasad. While it is nothing short of a miracle, it isn't actually. Ramesh designs such idols himself which gets activated to the sense of touch and out comes the "prasad" from inside! The idols are surrounded with beautiful flowers, lights and fountains so as to enhance their ambience, says Ramesh. A large gathering of Ganesha devotees thronged his residence to take part in a pooja including Jayanagar MLA BN Vijaykumar. Ramesh has been designing such concept Ganeshas for the past two decades. His wife and daughter too are equally talented and a collection of their paintings adorn his house.
