Mosquito eradication program in south B'lore

The Health dept of BBMP launched the anti-mosquito fogging program by releasing the King Fog, a chemical used to eradicate adult mosquitoes, at the Shalini grounds, 5th Block, Jayanagar, on Sep 1.

KR Ramakrishna, Additional Commissioner, BBMP (South) said the program was launched simultaneously across the south division. Dr Gayathri, chief health officer, Dr Nagaraj, health officer (south), Dr Kumar, medical officer, Jayanagar, former corporator B .Somashekar and members of Jayanagar 5th Block Association were present during the launch

During the interaction the officials also expressed their interest to conduct awareness programs on health and sanitation for resident welfare associations.
