For kids at Christa Prabhalaya Epiphany Church Sumanahalli

Children were in full spirits on Sunday, the Sports Day at Christu Prabhalaya Church [Epiphany Church] in Jayanagar. About 60 children who were part of the catechism group, from LKG to 10th Std took part.

For each event heats were held with the final 3 awarded prizes. The events kicked off with "The Frog Race" for the LKG and UKG children. The winners were Monika - I prize, Gavin Joseph - II prize and John Peter - III prize. The winners in the same event held for children of Std I to III were Joseph Jackson (I), Yasika (II) and Albert (III).

Following were winners in other events: One legged race for Std 4 to 7 - Augustine (I), Rosy (2nd), and Anthony (3rd); Lemon race for Std 8 to 10 - Philomena (I), Ashwish (2nd) and Martin (3rd); Coin Game for Std 4 to 7 - Arun (the lone prize winner); Fast walking Race for LKG and UKG - Monica (I), Joseph (2nd) and John Peter (3rd); Bursting of Balloons for Std 1 to 3 - Divya Mary (I), Micheal (II) and Albert (3rd); Running Race for Std 3 to 7 - M. Vijay (I), Shervin (2nd) and Jason (3rd); Walking Race for Std 8 to 10 - Ashwish (I), Milton Raj (2nd) and Sophie (3rd); Bottle and Water Race for team games for UKG and LKG - Infant Maran, Jai Kiran and Alan; Running Event for Std 4 to 7 - Augustine (I), Edwin (2nd), and Mercy (3rd); Bottle and Water Race for Std 8 to 10 - Milton (I), Arun (2nd) and Ashwish (3rd). There were also prizes for the 3 loudest clappers.
