Heavy Harvest - No Firm Root
By Ajit Kaikini
Quick yielding varieties ? that is what all the rage is about!
Instant noodles, we would like every thing right now. Everyone is on the
move, reaching for the moon! Would we not like to get the best without
having to wait?
Today's
children are brighter! The genes, from their more educated parents
make learning easier. However, this seems to have cut the fuses
closer! There is no maturing time to spare nowadays. Everyone wants
to experience everything immediately.
Can
you blame them if they have no patience? They are like butterflies
in search of the sweetest and biggest flowers! The youth are caught
up in this mad whirlpool! Comparison all the time, many do not know
what they are good at; neither do many spare the time to become good
at what they have.
Hop,
skip and jump! From one job to another, many are always on the
lookout for where the fruits are bigger. Finally, they have only the
fruit but the tree has perished! They lack the experience, which is
normally looked for at that age. They are burnt out before their
time; chasing rainbows where there were none!
It
is like a tree, which has changed 6 places for a better ground.
The heavy fruits it has now got are good but the roots are
not firm as it never got the right time to settle down.
Don't we have many so called ? successful? people with large
bank balances and homes but with an imbalanced life?
Being successful without being faithful to oneself and people
around us is short lived! It
is a pain.
The
roots was never given a chance to hold on is
slowly, the tree will fall!
To nurture for a happier
future, pay attention to your roots!
