Suvarna Karnataka celebrations in J'nagar

All Kannada Rajyotsava functions eulogise Karnataka but this one was really special, for singing paens to the State was an outsider. Chief Guest Sri Mishra, GM, BSNL wowed the audience when he compared Karnataka with USA for its hospitality to outsiders and harnessing talent. The occasion was the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations organised by the Jayanagar Telephone Exchange - South Central, in association with Kannada Kala Sangha Recreation Centre, at HN Kalakshetra, 8th Block, Jayanagar. Sri Mishra also stated that Karnataka had a rich literary tradition which was why it boasted of more Jnanpith Awards than any other state. Well known writer Sri AS Murthy (Eranna) and actor Rajesh presided. Senior officials from BSNL viz. Sri Ramalingam, Principal General Manager and Area Managers Sri U Chengappa and Sri Venkatesh varulu chaired the meet. 

Prizes were distributed to winners of cultural competitions, games, quiz, rangoli, singing, musical chair, story telling, etc held recently for the BSNL staff, followed by group dance and skit.
