Ethnic Mega Festival Sale

Usha Sridhar,  a trendy ethnics sarees designer is launching an exclusive line of sarees for Ugadi. The sale is on at Shyam Bhawan, # 919, 9th Cross, 24th Main, next to Badami Hall, JP Nagar, from July 24-28.
On display are creations in rich traditional Pure Silks, Grand Korva silks with fine borders in jewel tones, Feather light silks, Organzas & Cool, Soft Cottons from Kanchipuram, Kanchi Silk, Tussar, Korva Rasipuram Silk, contemporary big borders in Koranadu Silk sarees embellished with rural embroidery, Zardosi, antique kundan, micro-mirror work, Parsi, Kutch, Kasuti and appliqué work.

The collections are suitable for party, festive and wedding wear. Block prints using exclusive motifs are done on fancy silk sarees available in vibrant colour combinations including forbidding reds, powder blues, baby yellows, night purples, whites and off-whites and wide range of off-beat colors with a comfortable drape and vibrant blouses specially designed to match.

According to the designer, the regular pick me ups are block print salwars in mangalgiri cottons in subtle colors. Season’s cotton kurtas are also available off the shelf at affordable prices, apart from block printed south handloom cotton sarees from Rasipuram, Chettinad and Koranadu, sporting long borders and intensive thread work, with exclusive matching blouses.
