Genesis' Challenge 2008 - Kisme Kitne Hai Dum

On 6th July  JP Nagar-based Genesis School of Dance  was choc a bloc with hundreds of children and their parents for an Audition in Solo, Super Solo, Dynamic Duo and Thunder group. Needless to add, the crowd had a blast.

Check them out and you too will be tempted to shake a leg. For their 10th year Inter Dance Competition called Challenge 2008 on August 2nd at JSSS auditorium Jayanagar, 8 groups (out of overall 88 initially shortlisted)  in both Solo and Super Solo will present their skills.

The participants for the Fashion show were mainly from JP Nagar, BTM Layout, HSR Layout, Bannerghatta Road and Brigade Millennium. It was a 1-minute performance presented in different languages and different styles, in the age groups of 5 to adults, including even home makers.

Recently, the Genesis’ troupe won the second place in the Boogie Woogie dance show organised by Sony Entertainment TV at Mumbai in the age-group of 14 years.

The Talent 2008 show will see a lot of film stars gracing the event as judges, said Praveen.

Genesis has been there done that, for over ten years in running, training over 2,000 students every year in aerobics and dance. Their alumni have revved up the action in corporate shows for Wipro, Hewlett Packard, Satyam, Mico Bosch, TVS, and Accenture, at the expert hands of master choreographers of Praveen and Rohit Nair, and fitness consultant Naina Praveen. In the past, their students have accompanied famous singers KK, Lucky Ali, Anushka, Mahua and Mathangi on stage, and performed for some of the top event management companies of Bangalore.

Genesis offers training and courses in aerobics, martial arts, jazz, freestyle dance, salsa and of course filmy dance. Most of these courses are fitness oriented and conceptualized so as to derive maximum health benefit for the participant. It has branches in JP Nagar, BTM Layout, HSR Layout, Bannerghatta Road and Brigade Millennium, apart from a franchisee in Katmandu, Nepal.
