White canes and whistles for the blind

IDL Foundation in association with the Bangalore city traffic police organised a function to distribute whistles and white canes to the visually challenged ceremony on Friday, World Helen Keller Day.

Dr VS Acharya, Home Minister, Narendra Swamy, Minister for Women & Child Welfare, Shalini Rajnish, Principal Secretary, Dept of Women and Child Welfare, Dr Ashwathnarayana, MLA, Malleswaram, and T.A. Narayana Gowda, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike presided over the event.
