Will deliver on our promise: Ramamurthy

C. K. Ramamurthy, former Jayanagar Corporator and BJP Jayanagar Assembly constituency President thanked each and every voter of Jayanagar for giving a thumping victory margin of 44,000 votes to Sri. B. N. Vijaykumar. "We will work together unitedly and implement all the promises made during the campaign," Ramamurthy declared. He listed some of the issues that will be taken up immediately such as the shifting of the 9th Block bus stand to 18th Main near petrol bunk, converting the Puttana Chitra Mandira into a community hall, better management of traffic issues.

Bangalore will have Corporation elections soon and BJP is upbeat that it will get a majority in these elections, and even hold the mayor's post. Ramamurthy said he had worked sincerely for the victory of the party's leaders in the assembly and Parliamentary elections and the rank and file was extremely confident that their new CM BS Yeddyurappa would exceed the expectations of the people, especially the development of the state.

In the current round of elections, Jayanagar will get an additional ward in addition to the existing four, viz. Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Pattabhiramanagar, and Gurappanapalya.
