Traffic curbs in M'waram

The city police have introduced the following traffic restrictions and diversions in Malleswaram as an underpass is being constructed on Sampige Road 5th Cross junction:

• Motorists going from PF Road to Malleswaram Circle can take left at Mill Corner junction;

• Vehicles going towards Rajajinagar can take right on South End Road and 4th Main and then take left at MD Block to reach MKK Road;

• Malleswaram 4th Main, from 18th Cross junction to Mohammadan Block junction is now one way; vehicles will be allowed from north to south;

• Vehicles are not allowed from Gitanjali junction to Malleswaram Circle, from KC General Hospital to Malleswaram Circle; Vehicles will also not be allowed from entering South End Road from Srirampura 3rd Main and RP Road, and not permitted to go towards South End Road junction Main.

• The one-way rule on Malleswaram 11th Cross road has been modified and vehicles will now be allowed in the opposite direction, from east to west;

• Parking is prohibited on Malleswaram South End Road, 4th Main, 11th Cross, Temple Road and Coconut Avenue;

• Vehicles headed towards Yeshwanthpur can go via Vellipura railway bridge, RP Road, Malleswaram 8th Main, 8th Cross, Margosa Road and then onto 18th Cross and Maramma Circle;

• Traffic going towards Malleswaram Circle from MKK Road can go via KC General Hospital, Margosa Road, 8th Cross, Coconut Avenue and then Link Road;

• Motorists from Navrang can proceed on 4th Main and MD Block to reach MKK Road;

• Traffic on Sampige Road from Platform Road end towards Malleswaram Circle will not be allowed beyond Mill Corner junction;

• Traffic will be allowed in both directions on Margosa Road;

BMTC buses are prohibited from going towards Gitanjali junction from Vyalikaval, and buses approaching from Maramma Circle can reach Link Road through Margosa Road, 18th Cross, 4th Main, 11th Cross and Coconut Avenue; KSRTC buses are prohibited from going towards Malleswaram Circle directly from Kempe Gowda bus terminus, they will have to use PF Road, Vatal Nagaraj Road, Dr Raj Kumar Road, and then Tumkur Road.s
