Incentives for overseas fairs

For members of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA), taking part in an international fair/exhibition is more than just an opportunity to improve their business potential. The Union Ministry of MSME offers several incentives to MSMEs to take part in such fairs, such as reimbursement of 60% of space rental charges, up to 90% of airfare, and up to Rs 15,000 of shipping cost, subject to an upper limit of Rs 1.25 lac for small manufacturing enterprises and Rs 1.50 lac for micro manufacturing enterprise.

Participation in international fairs provides an excellent opportunity to MSMEs to display their products before international buyers and sellers under one roof. You can negotiate on the spot, generate business enquiries, and assess international market trends in product designing, marketing, pricing, etc.
