Body Builders Day Out

Karnataka Amateurs Body Builders Association in association with Hercules Multi Gym recently organized the 55th Karnataka State Body Building Competition. The competition was co-sponsored by the Jayanagar Traders Association.

200 body builders from all over Karnataka took part in the competition. Various prizes were up for grabs such as Karnataka Uday 2007, Karnataka Kishore 2007, Karnataka Kumar 2007, Karnataka Sree 2007, Karnataka Kesari 2007, Karnataka Sree Industries 2007, Karnataka Nav Chetana 2007 and Overall Champion Title Karnataka Shreshtha 2007.

Sri R. Ashok, former Health Minister inaugurated, and Sri S.K. Nataraj, former Corporator and Sri Prakash Mandoth, Founder & President, Jayanagar Traders Association was the chief guest. A large number of students and sports enthusiasts were present to cheer the contestants.

Following were the title winners of the competition: Karnataka Uday 2007 - Prakash M of Muscle Point; Karnataka Kishore 2007 - Hemant Kumar of Iron World; Karnataka Sree 2007 - M.V. Manjunath of Muscle Impression; Karnataka Kumar 2007 - Shanoor Ali of National Gym; Karnataka Sree Industries 2007 - M. Raghavendra of RLN Comforts; Karnataka Kesari 2007 - Ponnappa of Smith Multi Gym; Karnataka Navchetana 2007 - B.V. Srinivas of Chisel Multi Gym; Overall Champion Karnataka Shreshta 2007 - M.V. Manjunath of Muscle Impression.
