B'lore Konkan Samudai celebrates new year
The Bangalore Konkan Samudai organized an annual Christmas and New Year get together on Jan 20, 2008 at Christha Prabhalaya Church Hall, Jayanagar for Catholic people of Bangalore. The program was followed by the Eucharistic celebration by Fr. Pascal. Sri Naveen, MC, presented an introduction of the programme. Mrs. Ivy performed the invocation dance, welcome speech was given by the president of the Samudai, Sri Percy Pereria. Mr Pereira honoured the sponsors of the programme, judges and the dignitaries. Singing, dance and the fancy dress competition was held as an entertainment for the members of the Samudai. The Samudai's president, secretary, treasurer and sports secretary gave away the prizes to the winners, and Sri Lawrence proposed the vote of thanks.
