School Day at Christ School

For students of Christ School, Bangalore, it’ was Lights! Camera! Action! on Friday, Jan 18th , when the school’s 24th annual day and silver jubilee celebrations of the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Joseph Rathappilly CMI, was held at their school campus. Dr. J. Alexander IAS, Ex. Chief Secretary of Karnataka, was the Chief Guest, while Rev. Fr. James Narithookkil CMI, Rector, Dharmaram College presided along with Fr. Sebastian, Vice Principal.

The highlight of the program was a rendering of Nagaland dance by young Davino and co, followed by various Western and Bharatanatyam dance and skits by students. The cultural programme was followed by prize distribution ceremony and presentation of the school’s annual report.

Fr. Joseph Rathappilly has served the Church and society in various capacities like Parish Priest, Superior and School Headmaster. Before taking charge as the principal of Christ School, he has rendered his service as Pastor in the United States of America for a few years and there he did his research in Holistic Theology.
