Republic Day Cultural show by the visually impaired

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled is planning to celebrate Republic Day on Jan 26, 2008, with a bang, with a cultural and musical show 'Sabala', presented by its band of highly talented and differently abled students of international fame. Physically challenged boys and girls will present song and dance and mimicry show, creative products by the differently abled will be on display, apart from a video show on Samarthanam's activities. The organizers are planning to raise funds for constructing a state of the art national facility for the disabled in the city. The Trust was started by three young visually impaired graduates and today is doing yeoman service to the cause of the disabled and the physically challenged.
