Residents oppose shifting of Rajiv Gandhi Hospital

Jayanagar residents are up in arms against the reported move to shift the Rajiv Gandhi Health Univ ersity Gene ral Ho spital from Jayana gar 4th T Block to Ramanagar. The Federation of Jayanagar Residents Association is spearheading a protest by the locals on Jan 9, opposing the move tooth and nail, and demanding a super speciality hospital there
A number of associations are joining in the protest rally viz. the Jayanagar 4th Block Residents Welfare Association, 9th Block Residents Welfare Association, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th Main Road Welfare Association of Jayanagar, Jayanagar 6th Block Residents Cultural Welfare Association, Residents Association of 44th Cross, 7th and 9th Main Road, Pattabhiramanagar Residents Welfare Association, NAL Residents Association, Jayanagar 5th Block Residents Welfare Association, Jayanagar 6th Block Residents Welfare and Cultural Association, Jayanagar 4th T Block Residents Association, LIC/Canara Bank Colony/Hanumanathappa Residents Welfare Association Layout, Jayanagar Residents Welfare Civic and Cultural Association, and Jayanagar 7th Block Resident Welfare Association.
