Wanna smoke in campus? Pay Rs 10K!

So you enjoy a smoke in the college campus? Nothing has stopped you from drawing rings of smoke – not your parents, teachers, friends, and even John Abraham? OK, go right ahead, but pay up a fine. And soon, it could be as much as Rs 10,000! And hey, it doesn’t apply to just students, but anyone who’s found smoking in the college premises!

The health ministry is mulling over a proposal to make the school principal play cop – authorize him/her to issue a challan that would be similar to the one issued by the cops for a traffic violation. Presently, the fine if Rs 200, but it could go up to Rs 10,000. Cool, yeah? It’s better to kick the habit, rather than get a kick from your parents worth Rs 10K!
