Unique Retail Knowledge-building seminar series for first time in India

Apart from the focus on Wal-Mart, the participants can look forward to what the organizers call as “customized company specific sessions on Private Branding, the new power in Retail”.
As Kannan elaborated, “The private brand goods and services are becoming an integral part of the Indian retail landscape, and more and more retailers are looking into private brands as part of their core retail strategy.” Mr John A Torella, of JC Williams Group, will deliver a lecture on the need for private brands and the keys to their success, to benefit willing companies.
The main topics that will be covered at the seminar include the Wal-Mart culture, financials, operations, technology and logistics, supplier relations, real estate merchandising and brands, advertising and e-commerce.
