Calling all web designers, here is your chance to grab global attention and showcase your skills at the global level. April 2K8, the world's largest web designing competition, the Webdesign International Festival (WIF) will bring under one roof, the best web designers from across the world, to the city of Limoges, in central France. Web designers will pit their skills again one another in a competition called Webjam, apart from a host of conferences, and lectures by renowned specialists. According to an official release, professional and amateur webdesigners from all over the world have been registering since Oct 2007 on www.webdesign-festival.com to give a shot in competing in the Webjam contest pre-selections.
Registrations to the online pre-selections are now open. Pre-selections will be held online on January 18, and will be open to any web designer, interactive developer, graphic designer, grouped in teams of 2 to 4. The theme to work on will only be revealed on D-Day and the competitors will have precisely 24 hours to create a graphic, interactive and dynamic interface.5
At the end of the pre-selections, the 40 best web designers' teams will be invited to Limoges, France to take part in Webjam contest final scheduled to be held on April 17-19, 2008.
