A "hot & cool" exposition

ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air-Conditioning Engineers)’s biannual show, ACREX India 2008, an international exposition on heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and allied industry, will be held on Feb 15-17, 2008, at KTPO Trade Centre. Bangalore.

Over 30,000 quality visitors, builders, architects, industrialists, manufacturers, service providers and students are expected to take part in the show. For the first time ACREX India-2008 will exhibit Kiosks for the benefit of companies who will not be taking part directly.

Addressing presspersons, Nirmal Ram, Chairman ACREX said: “We are excited to have various leading organizations of the world participating in the exposition. Our programs, initiatives and goals have agreed upon a baseline to operate in our common quest to achieve a sustainable future. The challenge is upon each participating organization to make good on their commitments.” He further added that “Technical seminars with select speakers from India and abroad, will be held during the exposition to update the developments happening in the domain.”

Speaking on the occasion Pankai Dharkar, President, ISHRAE- All India said: “As Indian construction and infrastructure industry is witnessing a rapid growth of nearly 12% per year, which is twice the world’s average, accordingly the HVAC&R and building services is also growing exponentially in terms of volume, quality, state of the art technology and eco-friendliness of its products and services. ACREX-2008 showcases the latest technology, products from the HVAC&R industry and would be a boon especially for the young companies to showcase to the host of visitors from different segments.”

ISHRAE Bangalore Chapter President Bhagavan expressed the hope that the exposition would bring budding talent in the HVAC&R fold, which like any other industry, is facing insufficiency of skilled manpower.
Overseas participants are expected from China, South Korea, Germany and other parts of the globe. Theme discussion will have topics ranging from green building, energy conservation, [{CO friendly technologies, and cold chain refrigeration.
