Designer Diwali Sale

Designer Usha Sridhar is back with some innovative sparklers for the diwali season. Check out her exclusive designs of sarees and salwars specially hand crafted for Diwali festival at Canara Union, 42, 8th Main, 13th Cross, Malleswaram, from Ocr 11-14, 2007.

There are some splendid creations in traditional Kanchi silk, twill twisted Tussar, Rasipuram Korva silk with long, short checks and line borders.

One can see a combination of ethnic block print and intricate embroidery in Aari and hand stitch embellished with Sequins, Kundan, Zardosi, Mirror and Patch work Kalamkari to go with the festive season.

The range of colours used are traditional Indian like bright Aaraku, Karpagam Green, Oil Mustard, Indigo and blue, Champa Green, Crimson Red.

New designs introduced are in silk Organza with block print and shadow work embroidery in pastel shades.
The regular pick ups include block printed Rasipuram and Chettinad cotton sarees in fine weave, ready to wear salwars and kurtas, etc..

The designer Usha Sridhar believes in keeping in touch with her customers, and with the help of her data base, reaches out directly to them each time there is a sale. It's not surprising therefore that her creations for party, festival and wedding wear are popular in these circles.

There's also a rich spread of ethnic block printed and embroided Salwar sets, silk cotton pavadai, rich handloom cotton sarees from different states in wide numbers.
