The Pragathi women entrepreneurs' exhibition cum sale is a boon for such people with latent skills, as well as for shoppers who are looking for something out of the ordinary.

Pragathi was started a few years ago by Manjula and Kuljeeth, with an aim to motivate women to develop their own products and market them. The organization has over 80 members from all over the country. The women entrepreneurs bring their own expertise in garments making, pottery, herbal cosmetics, exclusive jute products, Jewelry items, designer and ethnic sarees, Orissa Handicrafts & Handlooms, Kantha Sarees and tops, embroidery handwork tops from West Bengal, dry fruits and spices, ceramic and pottery items, fancy and designer tops, Kashmiri items, food products, pillows and comforters, books and watches, fancy bags, various art and craft mediums and many more on display.

"We would like to support women entrepreneurs who cannot afford to set up their own sales and showrooms. We collect very nominal charge to set up their products with a nominal one time annual membership charge of Rs 200/," Smt Manjula said.
