Vintage Hindi Film Hits Singing Contest

VINMUSICLUB, an association of connoisseurs of vintage film music, is holding a vintage Hindi film hits singing contest TALAASH exclusively for people above 50 years of age, who can sing songs of 1940s-60s on stage, of Punkaj Millick, K L Saigal, C H Atma, Talat Mehmood, Hemant Kumar, Manna Dey, Zohrabai, Amirbai, Noor Jehan, Suraiya, Geeta Dutt, and Shamshad Begum.

The contest will be held on October 14, 2007 from 10 am onwards at Suchitra Film Society, 9th Main, BSK II Stage, and is open to both men and women. Finalists of the event will be offered opportunities to perform in the selected vintage film-musical shows to be organized in future by VINMUSICLUB.

Interested may send in his/her typed application with full details with two passport size photographs, along with DD/Pay Order for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of VINMUSICLUB towards participation fee, food and refreshments, to the General Secretary, Vinmusiclub, # 302, Akshaya Kuteera, MM Industries Road, 7th Block West, Jayanagar, Bangalore-560082.
