At Malleswaram

When it is designer Deepika, you are sure. More and more number of women are gungho about Deepika’s private collection of sarees and salwars. Her latest collections are on display at Canara Union in Malleswaram.

Block-print is the in-thing and Deepika has used wide varieties of blocks like abstract, geometric, floral, lines and traditional designs in different fabrics of  cottons, raw silks, Tussar silks and chiffons. Woven Cotton sarees are sourced from remote villages form South India, and contrast blouses are matched to each saree to look different.

The sarees and salwars are tastefully embellished to enhance the creations, and come in different colours such as ruby red, emerald green, and golden yellow.
