Residents to barricade cross to prevent parking

At South End Road, near Surana College, it is a clash between the students and residents. The college youth routinely park their vehicles in the two adjoining cross roads, and because of this, the people residing here are not able to take their vehicles out or inside their compound.

As one of the residents pointed out, the Surana College campus does not have parking space, which he alleged was a violation of the byelaws which require parking to be provided in the basement area of a building.  Sometime back, the traffic police had banned parking in these two cross roads, and put up No Parking boards, but with commercial establishments mushrooming in the area, parking has become a dire need.
