The residents also urged the Traffic Inspector to earmark the 10,000 sq ft BDA land situated next to the Raghavendra temple as a parking slot. The land under question is under litigation, but till such time the court resolves the dispute, it can be used for parking purpose by obtaining permission from the appropriate authorities, observed Bhaskar. Presently, people park their vehicles on the narrow road in and around the temple.
