There's more to baking than just baking, when you see "Daddy" at work, VP Philip, the brainchild of DB, who loves nothing more than dishing out the choicest savouries day in and day out. His vision is simple enough: Keep the customer happy. Simply like father, you just can't resist saying.
At DB's one bread is different from the other. Sandwich Breads, English Premium Butter Bread, Milk Bread, Diet Bread, Hot Dog Bread, Burger Bread, the list is endless, as Philip keeps adding newer varieties by the day! On the way are freshly baked muffins, pastry items, uttapams, rusks, bikis, donuts, special occasion cakes and more yummy stuff.
"Our USP will be the jazzy colour combination of our bread covers," says VP Thomas, partner. "We use imported machinery and would like to be known for our uncompromising quality and personalized service."
And for those who visit a bakery for more than a bite, you also get a taste of Daddy's food fundas. Like, did you know that a loaf of bread is the most "secular" choice of all cultures, classes, communities, across the globe? That it can be served ranging anywhere from room temperature to hot? That it can be eaten alone, or with another, usually less compact food. It can be dunked or dipped into a liquid (gravy), topped with various spreads, both sweet and savoury, or served as enclosure for sandwiches, with any number of meats, cheese, veggies, or condiments inside.
