Largest modular kitchen showroom now in K'gala
Modular kitchens made a grand entry in Koramangala on Thursday, July 12, with the opening of Interwood House, claimed to be the largest kitchen showroom in the country, from Trident Interwood Pvt Ltd in association with ALNO, a German-based manufacturer of kitchens.
Speaking at the inaugural, Mr Hardeep Sawhney, MD, Interwood and Mr Peter Esser, Area Manager, ALNO Kitchens, said modular kitchens was the hottest trend now fast picking up in the country and offered maximum convenience to the homemaker. The showroom has 25 latest designs of modular kitchens.
Explaining the concept, Mr Sawhney said modular kitchens are factory finished kitchens, wherein they are conceived and built as a complete unit. It is then assembled, checked for quality control, packed and loaded into containers. When it is delivered to the customer, all that is required is the necessary plumbing and leveling work to get the kitchen up and running.
Modular kitchens are especially useful for people who are on the move, or whose job demands that they move from one place to another on transfer. Just like you lug your other transport, you can also shift your "kitchen" just like that.
"The customer has the option of choosing his or her kitchen, the type and number of cabinets, the preferred finishing and the material for the kitchen," said Mr Esser.
