He thanked them for the warm gesture and was all praise for the cultural programme specially arranged on the occasion. He appreciated the good work of Samarthanam and congratulated all its  members and Trustees on their success in the service and uplift of the underprivileged.

The minister also announced that he would support from  MLA’s  fund the construction of the Samarthanam building  at HSR Layout. He mentioned people with disability would be given special consideration in the proposed insurance scheme of Govt. of Karnataka.
