Sandalwood's new flame - Radhika Pandit
By Latika Chuganey

The Nanda Gokula lead actress Satya, in real life Radhika Pandit has stepped into the big screen by making her debut with Deepak in her upcoming film “18th Cross” directed by Shankar.

“Since my family is from the art background, I am inborn with acting skills. My father participated in the theatre group and my mother was well associated with art,” says the confident actress.

Radhika has done her schooling from Cluny Convent Girls High School, Malleswarm and has graduated from Mount Carmel Girls College. “Through out my school and college days I have actively participated in dance and skits. Since then I have gained confidence and have worked hard on my talent”.

The young actress has also been featured in a 2-hour tele-film “Nina Olume Innadali” as the lead role starring Ashish Farooki. Radhika continues to thank her Nanda Gokula Director Ashok Kashap, who was not only a director but also a teacher who taught her all the shades of acting. “ He has been my biggest support and has helped me be what I am today”.

Her upcoming movie 18th Cross is a combo of a love story with serious comedy and action. The movie is based on a love story, which portrays a girl who falls in love at a very young age and how she faces difficult consequences.  “I have few offers in my kitty but would like to talk about it after every thing is confirmed”, says Radhika.

With sensuous yet so dignified actresses in the Kannada industry like Ramya, Rakshita and Shruti, we wish Radhika Pandit good luck in her career.
