BLAMER TO ACHIEVER
By Ajit Kaikini

While Bombay Dyeing huffed and puffed against the prevalent redtapism and the bureaucratic way of working in the Government, Vimal focused on what was possible and built an empire. While many polio stricken children cursed their situation and immersed in self-pity, Wilma Rudolf worked on her legs, overcame her circumstances and went on to win 3 gold medals in the 1960 Olympics. While Essar Steel complained against governmental policies, Lakshmi Mittal ventured out and built a larger steel empire. While Sunil Mittal with hardly any help built up Beetle telephones and Airtel, ITI with all the support is almost shut down.

Do you want to be one who achieves or one who blames?  Do you blame things and people around you, something which is not in your hands?  The above examples show how and why under similar circumstances a person becomes an achiever and a blamer. It is up to us to choose whether to win or to whine. It is not the external circumstances but we ourselves who are responsible for our negative thinking. Not limiting factors but limiting thinking is responsible for our failures.

Personality Development courses strive to remove these negative thoughts and replace them with belief in self, positive communication with the self and instilling positive mental patterns for a confident approach in all that they come across. The single factor, which can help this to happen, is by replacing our conditioned thinking with the right habits. When we do just that and develop positive habits to align with our intrinsic traits and goals, magic happens.
