FEAR OVER THE CITY!
By Ajit Kaikini
The Fear epidemic is here, there and everywhere amidst us. Every child is born a leader who wants things NOW! However, he is conditioned to be an adult who wants to procrastinate and push things for tomorrow.
Can we stand up and rise above our mediocrity?
Can we stop this conditioning being inflicted on our children?
Can we take action on top priority against this Epidemic?
We concentrate too much on Education, comparing marks to compete with others. This seems to be killing the God-given enterprise in many of our children. Look around and you will see many professionals with high-sounding degrees but sub-optimal communication and leadership skills. While all children are born with lots of confidence, motivation, optimism, enthusiasm and many more such human traits, why do they lose sight of these as adults? And in some cases, even a functional literacy is missing. Commitment is sacrificed, at the cost of competence. Consistency too is a problem with many due to lack of emotional health.
India today badly requires Enthusiastic Leaders. This can only be achieved by helping our children discover themselves, by tapping into their God-given talents and converting them into skills and developing the knack to be the best. They need to understand that we all are different and that we need to work on ourselves to better our best.

In the given circumstances, jobs will never be a problem and one can definitely survive, however, we need to teach our children to thrive - to be entrepreneurs and drive themselves to drive India like formula car racers.
In short, today's children, teens and youth need to work on their thinking, mindset and mind patterns - by accepting themselves, respecting themselves to be their best - to contribute their best for a better life in the future.
