Blue Hill Pvt Ltd, the promoters of the ‘Nilgiris Supermarket Chain’, launches a first one its kind premium, super-luxury intercity bus service – “LUXURIA”. The bus service is an experience in sheer royalty and redefines the word luxury. The Volvo buses have been designed by the ace automobile designer Mr Dilip Chhabria. With an initial investment of Rs 30 crores for 12 buses and infrastructure it is likely to be scaled upto Rs 450 crores in the next 7 years with acquisition of 250 buses.

  Initially Luxuria bus service, will flag off on Monday, November 15 with two buses departing at 5 am and 7 amand two buses in the night at 10 pm & 11 pm from Whitefield going via the Luxuria lounge at HSR Layout Bangalore.  The first three services will culminate at Hotel Sabari Classic on OMR Road at Sholinganallur in Chennai and the last service departing from Bangalore will culminate at Hotel Radha Regent, Koyambedu Chennai. At all the above mentioned times of 5am, 7 am , 10pm and 11pm the bus service will be running from Chennai too. The ticket for a one way journey is priced at Rs 1800.  Expect nothing short of a princely treatment on a Luxuria. The multi-axle Volvos provide high-grade leather reclining seats with electronically operated calf support. Entertainment on board is guaranteed with individual screens for each seat – which screens movies and music on demand plus live satellite television. The bus is Wi-Fi enabled which enables you to work on the go. Pursers on board will serve the travellers on board with delectable food and refreshments that would be a delight to a gastronome. Not to mention, they also have an eye for detail which enables them to take care of guests who need an extra pillow or a warm blanket to make the journey comfortable. The bus also has an in-built toilet, refrigerator and microwave.
