'E-Pitch', a Business Plan competition, was the flagship entrepreneurship event at ENGINEER 2010. It is an idea conceived by the students of E-FOREA (Engineers' Forum for Entrepreneurship Awareness) which provides the perfect platform for students to put forth their business ideas. Over the years, E-FOREA & ENGINEER have mentored and nourished many ideas, from ideas on paper, to Ideas that touch and change people in the real world. A total prize of INR 1,35,000 was distributed amongst the winners of 'E-Pitch 2010'. Additionally, teams have the opportunity to incubate their Idea in NITK STEP (Science and Technology Entrepreneurial Park) with seed money upto INR 10,00,000.
‘Mock Stock’ has had a memorable history with the heat rising high in the battle of the monies with a stock market environment stimulated with all its magical realism. This event sees the bulls and bears battle it out on all days of ENGINEER 2010 in the same manner as real world-trading business. Online Math, on the other hand, is based on pure mathematical problem solving with problems of Olympiad and College Mathematics standards.
