SAP Labs organises charity fund raising dinner with Virender Sehwag

In association with NGO Shikar to set up computer labs for children

Select employees of SAP Labs India had a lot to cheer as they had the unique opportunity to interact and dine with cricketing legend Virender Sehwag at an exclusive charity dinner event organised in association with an NGO Shikhar here in Bangalore.
SAP Labs which is celebrating its ‘Month of Service’ from the 1st to the 31st of October has planned a series of fund raising events and community projects where each and every employee will contribute dedicated time towards serving the community.

As part of this initiative, SAP Labs in association with Shikhar (NGO) organised a charity dinner with Virender Sehwag for its employees to raise over 5 Lakh Rupees for underprivileged children. The top 10 bidders from SAP Labs got an opportunity to meet and socialize with the cricketing legend along with five of their family members or friends on the 13th of October.

The funds raised through this initiative will be used to open an exclusive computer lab for the benefit of 5000 underprivileged girls. The company aims to set up similar labs and reach out to over 1 lakh children by the end of 2011.
