The small & quiet town of Davangere came alive when more than lakhs of people gathered to celebrate the 61st birthday festivities of Mr. Ashok Kheny, Managing Director, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE) Ltd.
Thousands of colorful posters thronged all over the city with people making a bee line to the Government High School grounds just to have a glimpse of the gala birthday celebrations.
All Religion-All Community Conclave: The celebration commenced with the All Religion- All Community conclave wherein prominent seers from all over the country including Dr. Shri Shri Shivakumara Swamiji, Dr. Shri Shri Shri Balagangadharanath Swamiji; Shri Shri Vishwesh Theertha Swamiji - Pejawar Math, Dr. Shri Shri Shri Ravi Shankar; Shri Shri Shri Ramdevji Maharaj Swami, Dr. Veerendra Heggade and all other revered Swamijis blessed Mr. Ashok Kheny on his 61st birthday. More than 1600 seers gathered on the occasion and prayed for the peace & prosperity of the entire town of Davangere & the entire Karnataka State.
Choppers flew across the venue where lakhs of people including women & children had gathered, showering flowers as if the heavens were blessing the earth.
Overwhelmed by the grace of the seers and the love of his fans, Mr. Ashok Kheny, speaking on the occasion said, “Our politico-social cultural system is good, but corruption is nullifying all our efforts aimed at advancement. It is the diversity in our society which makes it one of the most beautiful in the world. I look forward to the co-operation of politicians, film fraternity and one and all to realize my ambitious vision to make Karnataka the most advanced state in the entire world. The utmost need of the hour is removal of corruption from our system and this is possible only with the blessings of all the revered seers here. My real birthday gift would be their blessings to fulfill this.”
Shri Shri Shiva Kumara Swamiji, hailed as the `Walking God`, inaugurated the Conclave and celebrations by lighting 61 lamps to mark 61st birthday of Mr Ashok Kheny. He lauded Mr Kheny for the yeoman service he has been rendering for the education of poor children in the state. |
