Praveen Godkhindi invited at World Flute Festival

Ace flutist and composer Pandit Pravin Godkhindi has been invited by the Amuki foundation, Argentina for the 2nd world flutes festival to be held between 22nd and 26th of Sept 2010 at Mendoza Argentina.
Maestro of different varieties of flute will be participating in this prestigious festival. Apart from the concerts, all the musicians will be presenting lecture demonstrations. Seminars are being conducted on different facets of global music.

Pandit Pravin Godkhindi  will be also be representing BANSURI or the bamboo flute from India. Where he be delivering a  talk on the intricacies of Hindustani as well Carnatic music. Apart fro the lectures he is also scheduled to perform  a fusion concert with Flautists and musicians from other countries

He  is also planning to highlight some of the inventions and research work undertaken by himself and his father Pandit Venkatesh Godkhindi on the techniques of Bansuri.
