Sahana’s Precise Prediction!

Destiny or coincidence? Just after her Class X exams, Sahana G. Murthy was asked about how much marks she would get and she said after a momentary pause, “93%.” She was wrong, but no one is complaining. She scored 92.8%.  Undoubtedly, it’s the long hours of study that paid off, but the hard work and commitment she has is definitely in her genes. Her mother, Vimala Murthy, a railway employee has won national awards for exemplary performance, while her father Srinivasa Murthy, a software engineer turned entrepreneur, chucked a plum job at GE Medical Systems, one of the best companies in the world, to do his own thing, and her grandfather, K. Sankara Rao has helped hundreds of senior citizens to get pension. Sahana was felicitated recently at a function held in Town Hall by Karnataka Pratibha Academy, with a shield and a certificate. The charming girl is also an accomplished singer. Expectations are now high from her younger sister, Sahaja.
