Setting an example as Corporator

When TWB gave a surprise  visit to Yediur ward corporator NR Ramesh’s office earlier this week, a group of people were seated in his car portico waiting for their turn to sign documents filed for pensions. Surprisingly officials themselves filled the application taking the details of the people on the documents of Pension applications, such as widow pension, old age pension and handicapped pensions. Perhaps he is the only corporator asking the official to come on to his place to fill the applications to avoid any errors and running around of the people to obtain the pension certificates to avail monthly pensions ranging from Rs. 500/- to 1000/-. NR Ramesh has proved to be a true gentleman and straight forward worker, and has set an example on how a corporator can represent the people of his ward.
