Charity it is said should begin from home. Here is a genuine charity being offered in Jayanagar.  Ayurveda Pratishthana, a trust in Jayanagar 7th Block, is offering free ayurvedic and homeo medicines and treatment for the general for poor and needy people.

Ayurveda Pratishthana is a charitable institution dedicated to the propagation of  the hoary science of Ayurveda and the service of humanity.

The trustees said Ayurveda is the only hope for so-called incurable diseases like Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy (Fits), Whooping cough, Blood pressure and even Heart disease and Cancer. The AP has been virtually fulfilling that hope since many years of hundreds of concrete examples of cure those diseases said the Doctors.

The consulting fee is fixed on the basis of affordability of the patient treated. The collection box is kept where the patients can drop whatever amount they feel like paying, be it even Rs.10/- onwards. Even if you don’t drop the amount, there is nobody to question you or embarrass you, but the medicine is given free to any kind of disease.
This is mainly benefiting the poorer section said in house consultant.

The AP has been treating thousands of patients every year irrespective of caste, sex, creed and the economy status of the patients.

Ayurveda Prathisthana is a corporate body registered under the Society Act, in 1960 of Mysore, and they purchased a land in the 7th Block, Jayanagar, Kanakapura road. They have plans to build a 100 bedded hospital, a maternity ward, wing for collecting herbs and manufacturing medicines and an Ayurvedic laboratory for Diagnostic tests and research section  to provide better facilities to the patients.

The Trust appeals to liberal donors to come forward to extend their unstinted financial help to the sacred cause undertaken by AP.

Names of those who donate more than Rs.1,000/- will be written in marble on the walls of Dhanvantari mandir.
The donations given to Ayurveda Prathisthana are exempt from Income tax.

Hospital working hours : Monday to Friday morning : 9 am to 12 noon, evening: 4 to 5.30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 12.30 pm only
