Lions’ 1 to 1 million project with Buoyancee

When the gentle rasp of a tabla which soothes the ear is supported by the melodious tune of a sitar, one gets the elevating feeling. Add the tone of natural flute to this and we have  a beautiful melody. This melody by Lions, KTCPL/ KAPL & Buoyancee was appreciated by Sister Sevika, the principal of St. Anthony school, Jayanagar, where this project was launched on Thursday, 11th August. The district governor (324 D6) of Lions club Bangalore, Lion S Nagraj Rao and The Managing director of KAPL & KPTCL, Mr. Satya Kumar, presided as the Chief Guests of the occasion and inaugurated the project. Mr Ajit Kaikini, Director of Buoyancee introduced the project.

This ‘1 to 1 million’ project, will reach out to 10,000 youth in Government schools, Remand homes, Homes for the physically and mentally challenged and orphanages and empower them with life skills and personality development assistance. With a clear Statement of Purpose, this project will benefit all the youth under its umbrella. Lions is celebrating youth in this month of freedom during which, the needy will get these confidence building classes free and the haves will get 50% discount at Buoyancee.
