Jayanagar MLA, Corporators launch infra works
Sri. BN Vijayakumar, Jayanagar MLA, continuing his infrastructure works drive inaugurated two more works in Jayanagar Constituency. A Gudli Puja was performed on 30th July in Shakambarinagar ward in the presence of area Corporator B. Somashekar, for constructing a Multipurpose Hall comprising 3 floors viz. basement for parking, ground, first and second floor at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.5 crore. This building will be used for all kinds of utility facilities such as Library, BBMP help line to pay all property tax, and many such utilities services under one roof for the benefit of people of the ward.
Subsequently another pooja was done at Mahatma Children’s Home near JP Nagar Circle for widening the footpath with modification of foot paths on either side to make it two ways for all the BMTC buses plying on this road starting from SLV towards Dalmia Circle. The ward’s senior citizens had wanted this to be done, said Chandrashekar Raju, JP Nagar Corporator, and added that the work would be completed in 4 months time.
Many roads in JP Nagar 4thPphase are getting a fresh tar of concrete along with the replacement of sanitary line with 6 to 9 inch pipes, and sinking of new bore wells to solve the drinking water problem of the people, with the help of MLA Vijaykumar, said Chandru. Others who attended the pooja were CK Ramamurthy, N. Nagaraju and Chennigiriyappa.
